Bridging Knowledge, Transforming Myeloma Care
In honor of Multiple Myeloma Awareness Month in March, we had the privilege of speaking with Dr. Tony Blau—an educator, researcher, entrepreneur, and since 2015, someone living with multiple myeloma. His diagnosis led to a groundbreaking innovation: All4Cure, a digital knowledge-sharing platform that connects patients, caregivers, clinicians, and researchers to collectively advance cancer treatment. What began with Dr. Blau as participant #1 in 2016 has since grown to a thriving community of over 1,050 patients and more than 390 clinicians worldwide.
The Inspiration Behind All4Cure
When Dr. Blau was diagnosed with multiple myeloma—the second most common blood cancer in adults—he realized something crucial. Unlike decades past, new and effective treatments were now available, offering real hope. But navigating those options was overwhelming.
“With all these treatment choices, the dilemma became: What’s the right path for me? What were other patients doing, and how were they responding?”
That critical lack of shared knowledge drove Dr. Blau to create All4Cure—a digital ecosystem where patients, oncologists, and researchers collaborate, tracking medical records, sharing data, and identifying optimal treatment strategies.
Changing the Landscape of Multiple Myeloma Treatment
Multiple myeloma is a complex and relatively rare disease, with treatment approaches varying widely depending on the doctor and institution. All4Cure empowers patients and doctors by centralizing real-world treatment experiences, outcomes, and expert insights.
Patients can track their own treatment history and see how others with similar markers have responded to different therapies.
Clinicians can make more informed recommendations by seeing trends and best practices from a global network of experts.
Researchers gain access to real-world data that can help shape future treatment strategies.
By working together in this way, patients gain access to invaluable insights, tools, and resources, regardless of location or financial barriers.

Advice for Newly Diagnosed Patients
Dr. Blau emphasizes the importance of informed decision-making:
“When you see how far myeloma treatment has come in just 20 years, it’s breathtaking. It remains a challenging, incurable disease, but optimizing treatment is key. The first decisions you make are often the most critical. Connecting with an experienced myeloma specialist or registering for All4Cure is a great place to start.”

A Future of Coordinated, Personalized Treatment
Dr. Blau envisions a world where every cancer patient, regardless of location or diagnosis, has access to the best possible care—guided by data, shared knowledge, and collaboration. Today, All4Cure is transforming multiple myeloma treatment by helping oncologists refine pathways, compare real-world outcomes, and advance truly personalized medicine. But this is just the beginning. Dr. Blau hopes that one day, this knowledge-sharing platform will expand beyond multiple myeloma to improve treatment decisions and outcomes for patients facing other types of cancer as well.
Thank you, Dr. Blau, for your relentless dedication to improving outcomes for patients everywhere.
