In October 2017, Annie’s life changed forever when she was diagnosed with stage 2 triple negative breast cancer. Today, Annie, now 39, is facing her third cancer diagnosis—stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. While this was never a battle she thought she’d have to fight, Annie has hope because of the compassionate, life-changing care she receives through the South Sound CARE Foundation. 

Thanks to your support, Annie is enrolled in All4Cure, an innovative trial that shares information about treatment options and cancer care with doctors all over the world. This helps patients like Annie have access to brilliant oncologists and data from other cancer patients with similar diagnoses—allowing for the very best, cutting-edge treatment options. 

Since beginning her fight against cancer Annie has, “learned that life is precious. It can change at any time. There is no way around it.”  

Thanks to your generosity, Annie also has hopes and dreams for the future. “My dream is to someday get married. We’ve been waiting several years. It seems like every time we get ready, I get cancer again. I would like to get married and I’d like to move back home to Montana someday."

We can’t do this work without your help! Here’s what Annie had to say about CARE supporters:  “It means the world. I have needed help before and to have people randomly show up and want to help people with cancer has been incredible. It’s amazing to see people show up and donate and contribute to help somebody that they don’t know.”
